Your SmartCRM is all about list management.

You can create just about any kind of filtered list you need to, to accomplish a specific goal.

For example, if you just had an idea to push an exclusive listing to a particular group of contacts, you could create a filter for all of those contacts and instantly push a text message or email out to them.

Or, perhaps you have a new marketing campaign that you want to assign to a relevant group of clients, you could filter for that list and assign them all to a hashtag that triggers your new campaign.

The possibilities are very nearly endless.

Setting Filters

Step 1: Open Filters

Open the Smart CRM and click on the filters button.

Step 2: Select settings

Click on the different options to specify the different criteria of the list you want to view.

Once your options are selected, click 'Apply Filters'

This will re-load your SmartCRM, displaying your list. At the top left, you will see the 'Filters Applied' button has been created, indicating to you that the list you are viewing is filtered.

Clicking on the 'Clear Filters' link will reset your list to display all Contacts in your database.

Saving Filters

If you find that you work with specific lists of contacts on a regular basis, you can save those filters for quick access.

Configure your filters as you would, with the exception of using the 'Save Filters' button instead of 'Apply Filter.'

This will prompt you to name your filter. Enter an appropriate name, and click 'Save Filter.'

This will load your selected filter. In the future, you will be able to select it from the list at the top of the filters tab.

The small trash can icon to the right of the filter can be used to delete the selected filter.
