Add TREC to Twitter Step-by-Step Guide


  • Log into your HAR.com member account
  • Hover over "MyAccount"
  • Click on "Information About Brokerage Services"
  • Next to "Information About Brokerage Services," Click "Copy URL"
  • In a new tab, go to TinyURL.com
  • Paste your IABS URL in the box that says, “Enter a long URL to make tiny,” and click “Make TinyURL!”

  • Copy your new, shortened IABS URL
  • Go to your Twitter account
  • Click the “Tweet” button at the top right corner
  • Paste “TREC IABS:” and then paste your IABS URL
  • Go back to HAR.com. Next to "Consumer Protection Notice," Click "Copy URL"
  • Go to TinyURL.com and repeat above steps to shorten CPN URL
  • Go back to the tweet you’ve pasted your IABS URL into
  • Paste “TREC CPN:” and then paste your Consumer Protection Notice URL.
  • Both IABS and CPN links should be in the same tweet
  • Click the blue “Tweet” button to post your links

  • Click on the downward arrow at the top right corner of your tweet titled “More”
  • Select “Pin to your profile page.” Note: you must opt to unpin any previous tweets added to your profile.
  • All done!
